Bio

Ricardo Vizcarra is an interdisciplinary artist who works in video, music, photography, painting, mixed media, and its contemporary convergence. Even though he lives and works between Mexico and the USA, he is now in Toronto for a season. Besides, he also works on TV, independent films, and OTT projects. His work has been selected for biennials, art fairs, and international competitions. He has also received study scholarships at the Universidad Iberoamericana, the University of Pisa, Italy, and the Catholic University of Peru, among others. He studied art and film in Mexico (AMCI) and New York (The Art Student League of NY). He received the Young Creators grant from the National Fund for Culture and the Arts (FONCA). Additionally, he studied law and human rights.
