Bio

Ricardo is an interdisciplinary artist, working in video, music, photography, painting mixed media and contemporary convergence. Living and working between Mexico and USA, he is now in Toronto for a season. Besides, he works on TV, independent films and OTT projects. His work has been selected in biennials, art gaita and international competitions. He has also received study scholarships at the Universidad Iberoamericana, the University of Pisa, Italy, the Catholic University of Peru and among others. He studied art and film in Mexico (AMCI and UNAM) and arts in New York (The Art Student League of NY). Additionally, he studied law and human rights. He received a grant from the National Fund for Culture and the Arts (FONCA).
